WWE is building to its two final premium live events of the year with Crown Jewel on November 4th from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Survivor Series on November 25th from Chicago, IL at the United Center.
As previously reported, WWE is planning to do the WarGames match at this show despite not being advertised yet.
The show is a hot ticket as tickets went on sale on July 21 and it sold out on October 15, with 12,928 being sold. Due to such strong demand, WWE expanded the setup, now holding over 15,000 seats and more than 2700 initially configured tickets.
There had been a rumor going around that WWE may be building towards a Raw vs. SmackDown-themed WarGames match. That’s not the case.
Dave Meltzer noted in the Daily Update on F4Wonline, “On last night’s show based on an angle, we talked about the possibility of a Raw vs. Smackdown War Games match at Survivor Series. We are told that right now the War Games match is not planned as a Raw vs. Smackdown match.”
