Don’t expect to see the former Sasha Banks spotlighted on WWE videos…at least not until she returns to the company.
Many fans on social media quickly realized that Banks was erased in a clip that was posted on the WWE Network X/Twitter account. The clip, seen below, shows Balyey’s heel turn in 2019 on Becky Lynch.
However, the clip was cropped and if you didn’t know better, you would not know that Sasha Banks was also part of the attack on Lynch. This is a standard thing and has been going on for decades in WWE with performers that are no longer with the company and usually happens when someone is working for the opposition. In this case, Mercedes Mone is not officially with AEW but at the ALL IN press conference, Tony Khan said that he invited Mone to attend the show and it was pretty much hinted that she would be coming in once she’s healed and cleared from her ankle injury.
