Sasha Banks could eventually return to WWE but if the company wants her back, they might have to spend a ton of money to get her.
As first reported on Fightful’s The Hump, Mercedes Mone’s asking price is said to be more than what Charlotte Flair will make on her new WWE contract. Flair signed her new deal several months ago and it’s believed one of the highest-paying deals ever to a female wrestler. Note: Before, anyone goes wild on social media with this. This does not mean that Mone was aware of what Flair was/is making with WWE. The amount she is asking for just happens to be higher. Given what the men make, one could argue that she deserves the amount she’s asking for.
It’s not clear if WWE is willing to match what Mone is asking for. She is currently a free agent and not signed to any company at the moment and the working plans for the possibility of her debut in AEW have been scrapped. Tony Khan brought her into ALL In: London in August and there was hope that she would eventually sign with them. Saraya noted how excited she was about possibly wrestling Mone again in AEW. At this point, anything is possible and it’s not a lock that she’ll end up back in WWE and it’s still a possibility that she could sign with AEW or even TNA. 2024 is going to be an interesting year with so many free agents becoming available in the coming months.
