Saudi Arabia In Talks With WWE To Host WrestleMania Or Royal Rumble In 2026 Or 2027

WWE has a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority, which could be expanding in a big way.

The ongoing relationship sees the company get paid big money for hosting two shows a year in Saudi Arabia. WWE is believed to take in $50 million per show in the country, based on SES reports.

Turki Alsheikh, the chairman of the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority, recently told ESPN the two sides are looking for an “enhancement” to the existing deal, with it being announced later this month, and was hoping to get a WrestleMania or Royal Rumble hosted in the country.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour Wednesday, Alsheikh said they are speaking with WWE about hosting either WrestleMania or the Royal Rumble in either 2026 or 2027. This would be unprecedented for both shows.

WWE has already confirmed next year’s WrestleMania is headed to Las Vegas but has yet to announce the location for WrestleMania’s past 2025.
