Seth Rollins Makes First WWE World Heavyweight Title Defense at House Show

Days before Seth Rollins put his WWE World Heavyweight Title on the line in a match that is televised, Rollins defended the gold for the first time at Saturday’s WWE house show from Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY.

This title is expected to be the workhorse title of the brand with it being defended at weekend house shows as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns works a limited schedule.

At the live event, Rollins defended the title against The Miz in the main event. He will defend it against Damian Priest on Monday’s episode of Raw.

The Miz will also be on Raw as he hosts a Miz TV segment with Cody Rhodes as his guest. Here are the results from the live event, courtesy of WrestlingBodySlam.com:

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (champion) defeated Natalya.

WWE United States Championship: Austin Theory (champion) defeated Sheamus.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Four-Way: Gunther (champion) defeated Matt Riddle, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Damian Priest.

Street Fight: Cody Rhodes defeated Finn Balor.

Bianca Belair & Becky Lynch defeated Damage CTRL (Bayley & IYO Sky).

The Usos defeated The Brawling Brutes (Butch & Ridge Holland).

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (champion) defeated The Miz.
