WWE held a live event on Saturday night from the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, MO, where Seth Rollins remembered the late Bray Wyatt, who passed away on Thursday after suffering a heart attack.
At the show, Rollins went over Finn Balor to retain the World Heavyweight Title in a street fight that served as the main event.
During the bout, Rollins paid tribute to Wyatt by doing the signature Wyatt spider walk, using the mandible claw, and giving Wyatt some kind words after the match.
The lights went down so fans could put on their phone light, allowing the fireflies to come out. Rollins said he would be reminded of Wyatt every time he sees the fireflies, and he ended by saying, “Follow the buzzards.”
Rollins will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Shinsuke Nakamura at next Saturday’s WWE Payback PLE.
