Seth Rollins is in a good spot in his career right now as he’s positioned as a top guy in WWE, seemingly a week away from becoming World Champion, and is taking a big step in his acting career.
Rollins didn’t appear live on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw as instead, WWE aired video packages to hype Rollins’ upcoming match against AJ Styles in the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament at Night of Champions next Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
The reason he wasn’t there was due to him filming on the set of “Captain America: New World Order.” The Marvel movie is slated to be released on May 3, 2024.
Although Rollins is the heavy favorite to beat Styles to become the World Heavyweight Champion, it’s not a lock he’ll become champion. As previously reported, Rollins is the “number one guy” for Triple H, but if Rollins doesn’t win the match, it will be because they are telling a longer story.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Rollins will be off next week’s episode of Raw because he’s filming the movie.
Although not confirmed, he will likely be on the post-Night of Champions edition of Raw.
