WWE has brought in several main roster stars to work on NXT television, including AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Natalya, and the Viking Raiders to help teach some of the upcoming talent.
WWE continued the conflict between Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez last week on NXT when the pair appeared on the Grayson Waller Effect talk show, where he announced the two women would face off in a Weapons Wild match at Halloween Havoc. Before then, they would participate in ‘pick your poison’ matches in the coming weeks.
Neither Roxanne nor Cora have announced their chosen opponent for each other. One fan pointed Cora toward former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.
Cora responded to the fan by asking: “Hi @QoSBaszler do you wanna talk business.”
Shayna responded to Cora, implying she would be free to step in as the chosen opponent Perez. She wrote: “I do have some open freelance spots on my calendar coming up….”
After a dominant run in NXT, Baszler was called up to the WWE main roster back in February 2020 but did return last year to NXT alongside Nia Jax for a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship defense against Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez.
