Sheamus Returned To WWE TV Earlier Than Expected

Sheamus continues to fire back at trolls who have gone wild with making memes out of his WWE return.

Sheamus had been sidelined with a shoulder injury as his last match happened in a loss to Edge on the August 18th episode of SmackDown. While away, it was reported that Sheamus was dealing with a neck injury.

Earlier this week, Sheamus was back on Raw from the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC, where he battled Ivar in a singles match and went over. Due to the pain he had been dealing with, he nearly retired from wrestling two months ago.

Sheamus reached an accomplishment on Raw as he competed in his 1900th match for WWE. He’s worked a total of 2,130 matches in his career.

As seen below, Sheamus noted that he was originally planning to return after the WWE Draft later this month, but plans changed with the return happening earlier. He wrote,

Ok Ok take your best shots.. Whalemus, Too Many Pies, etc.. and then we’re done with the photoshopping & shaming. I was aiming for the Draft & got an early call-up. My bad. On me. Been sleeping in the gym ever since SO watch this space. i appreciate the love too #Sheamoose.”
