WWE held the first night of this year’s Draft last week on SmackDown with night two continuing on tonight’s episode of Raw.
This year’s Draft has seen the inclusion of NXT talent as several wrestlers who had been used in the developmental system are now on the main roster. This includes NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn and NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell.
In previous years, WWE would tell the top guys ahead of time that they were switching brands while most of the talent found out at the same time as the fans who were watching.
Pwinsider reports “that some talents, including some big names, who had no idea they would be moved until it was announced this past Friday.”
The report added that one of the NXT stars did know they would be called up while others didn’t know. The roster changes are put into place after this Saturday’s Backlash.
