WWE will be filming movie parodies featuring some of its biggest stars soon ahead of WrestleMania Goes Hollywood on April 1 and 2, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
In 2005 for WrestleMania 21, WWE had these types of trailers. The likes of Triple H, Batista, John Cena, Booker T, Rey Mysterio, JBL, and more were featured at the time.
WrestleVotes reported today that WWE is going forward with the parodies. Most notably, The Bloodline will spoof Goodfellas, an iconic mobster movie. Here is the list:
Miz & Maryse: Top Gun
Rhea / Judgment Day: Stranger Things
Brawling Brutes & Drew McIntyre: 40 Year Old Virgin
Becky & Seth Rollins: Batman & Joker
The Bloodline: Goodfellas
Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania Goes Hollywood.
I’m told the list below are the planned “WrestleMania Goes Hollywood” movie trailers:
Miz & Maryse: Top Gun
Rhea / Judgment Day: Stranger Things
Brawling Brutes & Drew McIntyre: 40 Year Old Virgin
Becky & Seth Rollins: Batman & Joker
The Bloodline: Goodfellas— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) February 14, 2023
