This year’s WWE Draft will kick off on the April 28 episode of SmackDown and be followed up on the May 1st episode of Monday Night Raw.
As previously reported, WWE is waiting to have the names from NXT make their main roster debut until the Draft instead of having it happen the night on Raw after WrestleMania 39.
Pwinsider Elite reports that former WWE NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov has been pitched as someone to be called up and be used on the SmackDown brand during the Draft.
Other names that could be called up to the main roster are Pretty Deadly, Zoey Stark, and Cameron Grimes.
Pretty Deadly seems to be ready after multiple NXT Tag Team Title reigns, while Grimes has been ready for a while. He has been in limbo while waiting for WWE creative to come up with an idea for him.
WWE has been high on Stark and given opportunities on the main roster, such as working Main Event tapings and even live events.
