This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, is shaping up to be a big show as it will feature the fallout from the Elimination Chamber PLE.
The show
WWE has already confirmed a few things for the show, including Bayley & Dakota Kai vs. Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) and Santos Escobar vs. Carlito in a street fight. It will also feature The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns appearing on the broadcast.
Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins were on the Grayson Waller Effect at the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event, where Rhodes issued a challenge to The Rock for a singles match anytime, anywhere.
The appearance
Rollins said that he would have his back when that day comes, further indicating the tag team match is still planned for Mania.
Pwinsider reports Rhodes is slated to appear on SmackDown. WWE has yet to advertise him for the show. The Raw star will likely be confronting Rock and Reigns on SmackDown.
