The Judgment Day has become a top act alongside The Bloodline storyline in WWE, with the faction being one of WWE’s biggest draws on television, whether that be on Monday Night Raw or NXT.
It was originally a group led by Edge, with him bringing in the likes of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. The WWE Hall of Famer wanted out of the group, leading to Finn Balor replacing him, and they later added Dominik Mysterio.
Fans praised the group for the work they’ve been doing on television. In recent months, there have been teases of a split between the group and Balor, as Priest had cost Balor his World Heavyweight Title matches with Seth Rollins.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE is planning to have Priest, not Balor, leave the group. Meltzer speculated the possible addition of JD McDonagh to the group based off what WWE has done of late with him and the group.
Meltzer wrote, “While this could easily change, the long-term plan is Priest out of Judgment Day. Whether that means McDonagh is in, that’s a probable but not 100 percent.”
