There is a lot of speculation regarding the status of two WWE stars coming out of Tuesday’s NXT TV taping.
WWE will be airing a taped episode of NXT next week on the USA Network due to the talent and crew having time off on July 4th. You can check out the full spoilers here.
At the taping, The Dyad (Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler) defeated The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) in a Loser Leaves NXT match.
The finish saw a masked man in a red hoodie hit a headbutt to Julius, allowing The Dyad to allow them to get the win. While nothing has been confirmed, it looks like The Creed Brothers will be called up to the main roster soon.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that fans won’t have a clear idea about the status of the highly praised tag team until about ten days or two weeks from now as WWE is keeping quiet.
Meltzer wrote, “That would be the impression everyone would have (them being called up) although internally they are keeping it quiet for the next week or so and some people directly involved have been told it’s all an angle, but that also could be people being told that to keep it from getting out. But I was told it would be clear in about ten days or two weeks what the real story is.”
WWE NXT returns with live episodes on July 11th.
