Taylor Swift had an influence on AEW’s change to All In 2024

Taylor Swift is one of the most popular people in the world and is known to bring out fans whenever she’s seen in public. She is also one of the biggest live-touring draws in the entire world right now. However, she did play a factor in AEW making a change to its biggest event of 2024.

The first show

The original All In pay-per-view event in London, England, at Wembley Stadium, was a major success for the promotion. It featured the main event of MJF retaining the World Heavyweight Title over Adam Cole and the last match of CM Punk’s AEW career as he went over Samoa Joe in the opening contest, minutes after he was involved in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry.

The promotion is returning next year with All In 2 on Sunday, August 25. As previously reported, next year’s show will have a bigger stage than this year’s show.

The change

Speaking with the Daily Mail, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that AEW decided to speed up how quickly they could set up the event so more Taylor Swift shows could be held at the venue.

“So basically, they came to us and said it would help us out a lot if you could load in your show faster because we’d have the opportunity to have more Taylor Swift shows, and could you guys do that? And we said, well, it’ll be costly and very challenging, and we really would like to help you out.”

Khan said that he hopes to score some points with her fans by allowing more shows to be held and perhaps they will check out the product.
