Fans got to see “Hollywood Rock” return for a moment in time today when addressing the criticism of him taking Cody Rhodes’ place at WrestleMania 40 in a match against Roman Reigns.
WWE is hours away from its WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Event, where the company is expected to announce The Rock vs. Reigns at the event.
The Rock is still receiving backlash for pushing for the match despite Rhodes winning the Men’s Royal Rumble Match. Only a handful of people knew that The Rock had actually agreed to do the match in early January as part of his deal to join the TKO Board of Directors.
While appearing on the Pat McAfee Show today, The Rock mocked the fans who were upset with the decision. He said that those upset need to sit back and enjoy the ride.
“At the end of the day, you have the Cody crybabies, you have the Cody fans, and you have Cody himself, and there’s a clear distinction between the three, but The Rock says this: those Cody crybabies, the ones for every 10 tweets, they’re shoving a Chicken McNugget in the mouth. Every 20 tweets, they’re shoving two McNuggets up their ass. The Rock says all you gotta do is sit back and know your role. Shut your mouth and enjoy the ride that The Rock is gonna take your candy asses on. So hashtag that. Hashtag, shut your bitch asses up. Hashtag Cody crybabies.
