Fans can expect to see more of The Rock on WWE television as the company gets closer to WrestleMania 40 in April.
Plans change
Things changed with the WrestleMania 40 card for various reasons, whether injuries or other factors. The Rock heavily pushed to do the match with Roman Reigns at the event, but due to the pushback from fans, he took a step back with plans changing again.
Fans will see Cody Rhodes get the chance to finish his story when he challenges Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 40. It looks like WWE is building towards a Rhodes & World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Reigns and Rock tag team match at the event as well.
New direction
The Rock has turned heel and aligned himself with The Bloodline. He is slated to appear on Friday’s SmackDown from Glendale, AZ.
As seen below, the former WWE Champion confirmed on his Instagram that he would be appearing on the March 8th SmackDown in Dallas, TX, and the following week’s show from Memphis, TN, on March 15th.
