All Elite Wrestling has a loaded tag team division full of several teams, to the point where there are Tag Team Titles in AEW and ROH in addition to the Trios Title for six-man teams. However, one team won’t be getting back together.
After being part of Stokely Hathaway stable, known as The Firm, Big Bill went with Ricky Starks in August, where they began being a pair on television. Starks began managing Bill while being suspended in storyline as a way to remain on TV. Last October, they beat FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
They lost the titles to Sting and Darby Allin in a tornado tag team match on the February 7 episode of Dynamite. Starks has disappeared from TV after having an injury scare several weeks ago during a match. Since then, Bill has been paired with Chris Jericho because he wants to join Jericho’s Learning Tree.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that he was told that there were no real plans to continue the team. It was said both stars were ready to move on to different projects, as they both believed the team had run its course.
