WWE could be calling up one NXT star to the main roster in the near future as the company heads into 2024.
Deadline
Before they can do that, WWE will close out the year with its final premium live event in the way of NXT Deadline on Saturday night from Bridgeport, CT at The Total Mortgage Arena.
The show is being built around the two Iron Survivor matches, with the winners being the next contenders for the Men’s and Women’s Title. The men’s match features Dijak, Trick Williams, Josh Briggs, Bron Breakker, and Tyler Bate, while the women’s bout will see Tiffany Stratton vs. Lash Legend vs. Blair Davenport vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Fallon Henley.
The move
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that there has at least been talk of Bate going to the main roster.
Meltzer pointed out how his size is no longer an issue now with Vince McMahon out of the picture and Triple H being in charge of main roster creative. Bate is a former NXT UK Champion.
