There Have Been Discussions About a Former WWE Star Returning to the Company

WWE may be bringing back a former WWE star in the near future.

Across the main roster and NXT, they have a loaded roster, but the presence of a veteran is usually always welcomed. WrestleVotes reports discussions over the last month about bringing back Mickie James.

James hasn’t been seen in WWE since WWE brought in James for the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match. This marked her first appearance for the company since they released her in 2021.

After her release, James revealed she was sent all of her belongings in a trash bag. Top WWE officials publicly apologized to her for the incident and then-Head of Talent Relations Mark Carrano ended up being fired over it

James has been wrestling in Impact Wrestling as of late. She is slated to challenge Trinity for the Knockouts Title at Bound for Glory later this month.

As previously reported, James’ husband, Nick Aldis, is slated to make his WWE debut as a new authority figure.

The account wrote, “Rumors of Nick Aldis debuting tonight on SmackDown as a new GM. Source states that within the last month there were discussions and ideas thrown around to see if Aldis’ wife Mickie James would be interested in such a role as “Co-GMs”. This doesn’t look to be happening though.”
