With just 24 hours left until the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, there is talk of a change being made to the card.
WrestleVotes is reporting that there have been rumblings within WWE that Carlito could be replaced in his match with Santos Escobar and they would explain it by doing an injury angle. It’s unclear exactly why Carlito is being pulled from the match but Dragon Lee is expected to be his replacement. It’s possible that he has a legit injury or this was just a late creative change. Lee is being given the rub on TV with the announcers saying that he’s got the endorsement of Rey Mysterio. It’s also possible that this was always the plan but that seems unlikely since Triple H doesn’t have a history of making late changes to shows unless that’s the hand being dealt to him.
As of now, there are just 5 matches set for the show and it doesn’t look like more matches will be added. Here is the card for tomorrow night’s PLE:
– GUNTER will defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz
– Rhea Ripley will defend the Women’s World Championship against Zoey Stark
– Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso and Randy Orton vs. The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre in the Men’s WarGames match
– Santos Escobar vs. Carlito (?)
– Bianca Belair, Shotzi, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair vs. Damage CTRL in the Women’s WarGames match.
