Things continue to look worse for Vince McMahon after he resigned from all his roles within TKO, including TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors, after the lawsuit that alleged him to be involved in a sex trafficking and abuse scandal from a former WWE employee, Janel Grant. John Laurinaitis and WWE are also listed in the suit.
NDAs
As previously reported, the NDAs that were signed by several women with McMahon were created and signed without the knowledge of WWE, as McMahon signed them on the company’s behalf.
The aforementioned NDA may likely be unenforceable because they were just like Grant’s situation, as McMahon paid $1 million of the $3 million agreed to likely make any deal null and void.
Justice
While speaking with News Nation, Ann Callis, Grant’s attorney, noted that McMahon stepping away from WWE is “not enough.”
When asked what justice looks like in Grant’s mind, her attorney responded, “She wants justice because she wants to change the culture that is going on in the WWE. She wants to help other victims. She thinks by speaking out and coming forward for her that others will feel emboldened and encouraged to come forth.”
Grant’s attorney previously claimed there could be more victims coming forward due to the allegations and civil lawsuit brought against the parties involved. McMahon has denied the allegations.
