Timeframe For Rhea Ripley’s Return From Injury

Rhea Ripley vacated her WWE Women’s World Championship in the opening segment of Monday Night Raw, only to be taunted by Liv Morgan.

As previously reported, Ripley suffered a shoulder injury during a brawl segment on the April 8th episode of Raw when Morgan attacked her. This was part of Morgan’s revenge tour storyline after being put on the sidelines last year at the hands of Ripley.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that Ripley is looking to be out of action for at least four months.

“She suffered an AC Joint sprain in the brawl with Liv Morgan last week on Raw. She was thrown into the wall, and boom. There goes the shoulder, and an injury like that is probably 4-6 weeks to gain mobility and then three months to be back in action.”

Alvarez later added, You know, I wonder if it is a sprained AC joint. And it’s gonna be like, three months like Seth [Rollins] got injured right after the Royal Rumble, and he didn’t wrestle for months, and they didn’t take the title off of him. Obviously, they had a big thing planned at WrestleMania. So that’s probably why, but I’m wondering if maybe, you know, they were like, ‘Okay, well, you’re hurt and we could just ice the title for two months, three months, but you know what we can we can make something of this with you and Liv’”.
