AEW has confirmed the next title challenger for AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm, leading to her next title defense.
On Friday’s AEW Rampage episode, Skye Blue beat Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, and Mercedes Martinez in a fatal 4-way bout to become the #1 contender for the title. Now, Blue will challenge Storm for the strap this Wednesday on Dynamite.
After pinning Rose while Baker fought with Martinez on the floor, Blue scored the win, earning her the first time she will challenge for a championship in AEW. This will be Storm’s third title defense since winning it at Double or Nothing.
Another match confirmed for the show is TNT Champion Wardlow defending against Jake Hager, the first time Wardlow will defend it since his successful title defense over Christian Cage at Double or Nothing.
