This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite closed in a newsworthy way as The Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada laid out AEW President Tony Khan.
The show’s last segment saw Perry and Khan seemingly put their differences aside as Perry said that all he wanted to do was wrestle in AEW and make it better. He wanted to be reinstated. Khan agreed before Perry punched him in the gut. The Young Bucks laid out their boss with their finisher to close the show. It’s the first time that Khan has gotten physical in his promotion.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Khan sold the effects of the attack at the show’s end and throughout the night, even on a closed set.
AEW taped the Parking Lot Brawl with Chucky T and Trent for Saturday’s Rampage at Daily’s Place overnight, where Khan was on scene. The AEW boss was selling his neck and was wearing a neck brace after the attack.
Some wrestlers have wondered whether he’d wear it through the week for any NFL Draft-related on-camera appearances over the next few days.
