Tony Khan Says AEW Stars Were Fired For Missing Shows, Wrestler Disputes Claim

One wrestler who was released by AEW is publicly disagreeing with the recent comments made by AEW President Tony Khan.

This week, the following names were released by the promotion:

– Stu Grayson
– Dasha Kuret (ring announcer)
– Anthony Henry.
– Dalton Castle’s Boys
– Slim J
– Gravity
– Jose The Assistant
– Parker Boudreaux
– Jora Johl

On today’s ROH Supercard of Honor media call (scroll down to hear the entire call), Khan noted that in the case of Henry, they will bring him back once his broken jaw is healed up. In regards to The Boys (Brandon/Brent Tate), he claims they were let go after both didn’t show up to work on multiple occasions and he had to make the tough call.

Brent refuted that on Twitter when he responded with, “Far from true. Stay tuned..”
