Saraya will be working her first match in her home country in several years when AEW holds their All In event at Wembley Stadium in the UK on August 27.
While speaking with Raj Prashad of Uproxx, Saraya commented on the show. She noted that it’s a wild opportunity to wrestle at the show and has a vibe of WrestleMania 1. Saraya stated it would be something really special, and she’s fortunate to be part of history.
Saraya gave two potential dream matches for the show – Jamie Hayter and Mercedes Mone.
“I would love to face Jamie Hayter. That would be amazing, because she’s also from the UK — I’ve had the opportunity to be in a tag and triple threat, but not a singles match, and I would love that opportunity. Do we open that Forbidden Door? Mercedes MonĂ©, I would love to face her there. That would be such a full circle moment. There’s so much opportunity there,” she said.
Saraya, who is part of the AEW Outcasts, has been feuding with Hayter, part of the AEW Originals, as of late. Hayter is slated to team with Britt Baker to face Toni Storm & Ruby Soho on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
Mone is the reigning IWGP Women’s Champion. In WWE, they have a long history. Mone was the person who kicked Saraya in the back in her last WWE match in 2017, which led to her not being medically cleared for several years. They’ve since moved past the incident, with Mone being one of the first people she heard from once being cleared in 2022.
