Top AEW Star Recently Suffered An Injury

AEW taped this Friday’s Rampage episode that will air on TNT after the Dynamite event on Wednesday night from Charleston, WV at the Charleston Coliseum and unfortunately, one star suffered an injury.

Matches already announced for the show include TBS Champion Julia Hart defending against Leyla Hirsch in an Open House match, Cool Hand Ang vs. Zak Knight, Jay White vs. Matt Sydal, and Orange Cassidy vs. Alex Reynolds.

This episode will air just over a week from AEW’s next pay-per-view event, Dynasty, on April 21st, where Hart will defend the TBS Title against Willow Nightingale. The winner of that bout will then go on to defend the title against Mercedes Mone in Mone’s AEW in-ring debut at Double or Nothing in late May.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted Hart suffered a shoulder injury. We wish her a speedy recovery.

“Julia Hart beat Leila to keep the title. Julia Hart injured her shoulder legit at some point in the match. We don’t know how serious it is. But she did win with the roll up,” Meltzer stated.
