There may be a notable name on the free agent market from TNA Wrestling this year, should the promotion not lock him down to a new deal.
Steve Maclin, also known as former WWE star Steve Cutler from the Forgotten Sons stable, reinvented himself when joining TNA in 2020 where he has established himself as a top star in the company.
His WWE tenure fell apart after Jaxson Ryker got heat with the company and talent, causing Maclin and Wesley Blake to be pulled from main roster television shortly after being called up from NXT.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that the former TNA World Champion’s contract with TNA is currently set to expire in May. It’s unclear whether the two sides have had talks about an extension.
