AEW is about to land a top set of free agents as Tony Khan continues to bring in more talent.
Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) are AEW-bound after their TNA contracts expired in March.
They formed the tag team in 2007 and have found success in every promotion they’ve worked for, including ROH and NJPW. While in TNA, they both held the World and X-Division Titles. Together, they’re three-time Tag Team Champions.
The tag team finished up at the March 23rd TV tapings. TNA had hopes of keeping them, but that’s not the case.
Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net, who has broken past stories, reported the news. Per sources, the two sides are working on finalizing the terms of the deal, something that is said not to be done for a bit, but “the decision has been made, and a deal will be worked out.”
