WWE has lost a key executive who had been with the company for decades.
Changes
There has been a lot of turnover in WWE over the last year. A year ago, Vince McMahon agreed to the company being acquired by The Endeavor Group, and WWE and UFC merged into one company, TKO, with Endeavor as its parent company.
McMahon’s resignation from TKO happened earlier this year following the bombshell lawsuit filed against him by Janel Grant. Now, the company is free of McMahon being part of it.
Departure
PWInsider.com reports that John Porco, the Executive Vice President of Live Events for WWE, left the company last month. Justin Scalise, the senior vice president of Live Event Marketing, will take over the role.
Porco first joined WWE in June 1999, where he worked as a Public Relations Coordinator. In 2002, he joined the live events department as the Director of Marketing. He remained in that role until 2022 when he became the Senior Vice President of Live Events Marketing.
