After many months of speculation about his future in wrestling, a top WWE star has signed a new contract.
The Rock posted a video on Instagram of a sword being hand delivered to Drew and in the caption, he announced that McIntyre signed a new deal. McIntyre and WWE had been in talks for many months and it was reported that McIntyre was willing to let his contract expire so he could spend time with his family in Scotland.
Over the last several months, McIntyre has been pushed at the top of the card and it’s clear that he’s loving what he’s doing as it’s closer to who he really is. The belief in recent weeks was that a deal would get signed, especially with Clash at the Castle heading to Scotland in June. Below is what The Rock said on Instagram:
