WWE has announced that Toxic Attraction is out of the Women’s Tag Team Title tournament.
It was announced by the company that the reason why they were pulled is because of “injuries suffered by Gigi Dolin.” There were no details on the nature of the injuries suffered.
Dolin and Jacy Jayne replaced Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark last Friday in the tournament. Ironically, they were replaced because of an injury to Stark and Lyons not being medically cleared.
WWE has also announced that there will be a “second chance” Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match this Friday on SmackDown. There were no competitors announced but presumably, this will include teams that have already been eliminated from the tournament.
