Q&A:
– Triple H was asked about WWE breaking records without Roman Reigns on every show and how that speaks volumes about the work being put in by everyone at WWE. Hunter said there’s teamwork and camaraderie and the boat is going in the same direction. He talked about Vince McMahon being so instrumental for 50 years. “I don’t know that there would be professional wrestling/sports entertainment without him.”
– Triple H on the Attitude Era and not being able to appreciate the success but now it’s different and now WWE is on one of the greatest runs in the history of the business.
– Triple H was asked about Jade Cargill. She will appear when “she’s ready to blow the roof off everything we do.” He said that while her rise has been quick, she’s now in a different system. “What doesn’t exist elsewhere, exists here.” He said he’s learned from her that she’s ready for it all and she’s ready to be on the team. He also said he’s not sure when she will debut or where but every brand wants her. He added, “we had eyes on her before but she took a different path” and he’s glad she’s in WWE now.
– Triple H was asked about Adam Copeland (Edge). He said it was about “time” and it was right for him and right for the company and both sides felt that he did what he should have done. No animosity or hard feelings. He added, “I’m happy for him” and he said that in a text message. He said there’s a line of people who are way more than capable of taking his spot and taking it to the next level.
– What is the next evolution for NXT? Triple H said the sky is the limit for the brand. The pandemic crushed NXT because no one could train during that time and there were no fans.
