Trish Stratus appeared on WWE Raw to address her attack on Becky Lynch last week.
Trish said that she’s the reason why women’s wrestling is being treated seriously and fans should be chanting “Thank you, Trish.”
Trish talked about taking offense to Becky making it sound like the Four Horsewomen were responsible for the women’s evolution and not once did Becky thank her for opening the door for her and not once did she say “Thank you, Trish.”
Trish then said that Lita bought into Becky and became her sidekick. Trish explained that she took Lita out because she wanted to “put her out of her misery” and she needed her out of the picture because she wanted to make it crystal clear that she (Trish) was the person to screw Becky out of her titles.
The Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus match is rumored for SummerSlam so, unless plans changed, expect a slow build from now until August.
