Tyson Fury on WWE return: “I’m hoping to get back in there soon”

Tyson Fury has continually teased a return to in-ring action after making his in-ring debut in October 2019 with a win over Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Years later, the boxer has yet to do so.

Since 2019, he has teased matches with Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar, among other WWE stars.

While speaking with Give Me Sport, Fury talked about a return to WWE. He also stated that WWE will be doing a second Clash at the Castle 2 premium live event soon.

“I’m hoping to get back in there soon. They’re doing Clash at the Castle 2 soon I think so I’m looking at maybe getting back in there. I’m looking at taking that heavyweight title for sure. If Roman Reigns vacates or something then maybe me and Drew can finally get that battle on.”

Fury did appear at the UK PLE last year when he knocked out Austin Theory, who tried to get involved in the main event where Drew McIntyre lost to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
