Baron Corbin attempted The Rock’s finisher when he was in action against Dolph Ziggler in Corbin, Kentucky, on January 15. Corbin went for the finisher, but Ziggler popped up and hit a superkick.

For years, WWE has hoped to do The Rock vs. Roman Reigns, and for the last several months, WWE has been going with the idea that the bout can happen at WrestleMania 39, depending on whether The Rock can fit it into his schedule.
Vince McMahon’s return as the Chairman of the WWE Board Of Directors is not expected to affect The Rock’s status at WrestleMania.
During his appearance on SmackDown’s 20th Anniversary alongside Becky Lynch, Corbin interrupted them. After exchanging words, Rock and Lynch laid out Corbin.
