Tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with an incredible tribute.
The opening graphic was of the late Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt. Wrestlers were on the stage and they flew in people who were not booked or are no longer with the company to be part of the tribute.
A very emotional video package aired for Wyatt and then they cut back to the wrestlers on the stage who were visibly affected by the moment and Wyatt’s passing. You can see footage from the tribute below. They followed up with a video for Terry Funk after the commercial that showed the outpouring of love for him on social media after his passing. Cody Rhodes will appear later to honor Funk.
