WWE United States Champion Austin Theory vs. Bronson Reed vs. Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match took place at the WWE Backlash premium live event from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Lashley had the early advantage as he was taking out everyone. Lashley with a spear to Theory for an early pin attempt as Reed pulled him out of the ring to break it up. Reed with a springboard tackle off the apron to Lashley on the floor. Theory knocked Reed off the top rope. Lashley avoided a move and put Theory in the hurt lock. Theory got out of it and Reed hit a splash off the top rope to Lashley for 2. Lashley hit the spear to Reed only for Theory to throw out Lashley and pinned Reed for the win.
Winner: Austin Theory
