Following the tragic news of Bray Wyatt’s passing on Thursday, there has been a lot of talk among fans regarding what WWE should do for tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
A lot of fans have shared their take that it should be turned into a tribute show for the former WWE Champion, who passed away after suffering a heart attack following a battle with COVID-19 earlier this year.
Things already announced for the show include an appearance by Jimmy Uso, Women’s Champion IYO SKY vs. Zelina Vega, and Rey Mysterio vs. Grayson Waller.
Pwinsider reports Cody Rhodes and Braun Strowman are being brought in for the show. However, it’s unclear whether Strowman will appear on the show.
Strowman was close with Wyatt as they were part of The Wyatt Family group alongside Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
In early June, Strowman underwent neck fusion surgery, likely leaving him out of action for the rest of this year.
