WWE Clash at the Castle results: New Bloodline member debuts, Roman Reigns retains, Tyson Fury sings

Roman Reigns put his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.

They played McIntyre’s “Broken Dreams” theme that he used during his early run in WWE before transitioning into his current theme. Reigns went out to the ring without The Usos, Sami Zayn, or Paul Heyman with him. Karrion Kross and Scarlett were in the first row watching the match.

In the middle of the match, Reigns grabbed the mic and told the fans to acknowledge him. McIntyre recovered and hit the Glasgow Kiss and that was a turning point because Reigns was dominating for a while. Late in the match, McIntyre went for the Claymore but Reigns hit the Superman punch but McIntyre kicked out of the pin attempt.

Reigns went for another spear, took a kick to the face but then went for it again and hit the spear. McIntyre kicked out. Reigns applied the guillotine submission hold. McIntyre powered out and shoved Reigns into the ring post. McIntyre speared Reigns through the barricade. He brought him back in the ring to hit the Claymore but Reigns hit the spear and McIntyre kicked out.

Reigns grabbed Charles Robinson for not counting McIntyre out. McIntyre hit Reigns and that caused Reigns to take out Robinson. Austin Theory ran out to cash in but Tyson Fury knocked him out. Reigns grabbed a chair, McIntyre hit the Claymore but Reigns barely kicked out. Moments later, McIntyre hit the spear and the Claymore. He went to pin McIntyre but Solo Sikoa pulled the referee out of the ring. Sikoa pulled McIntyre’s neck across the rope and Reigns hit the spear to retain the title.

After the match, Fury went to the ring and he shook Reigns’ hand. Fury helped McIntyre up to his feet after Reigns and Sikoa left. Fury grabbed the mic and praised McIntyre and then Tyson sung “American Pie” like he does after his boxing matches. McIntyre spoke and said that the fans in Cardiff didn’t let him down and he plans on getting his hands on the Undisputed Title.
