WWE has recently confirmed the date for the third bout between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch, but it won’t be at this Saturday’s SummerSlam PLE.
Their first match occurred at the WWE Night of Champions premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It ended when Zoey Stark came from under the ring to attack Lynch, leading to Trish winning.
On Monday’s episode of Raw, WWE confirmed via Adam Pearce that Lynch had been granted her request for the rematch for that show, leading to them wrestling each other until Stark rushed the ring to attack Lynch, causing the DQ.
This led to Pearce booking the third bout for the August 14th episode of Raw from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where Stark will be banned from ringside.
Fightful Select reports “that plans for the match changed this past weekend as the match was discussed for WWE Payback.”
That event happens on September 2 at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. However, WWE officials then decided on the match for the Raw.
