Years ago, it wasn’t a common thing to hear about couples in WWE getting married. There were different reasons for this. The culture was different with wrestlers oftentimes not being on the road together all the time with separate brands and prior to the launch of NXT, there weren’t many women on the roster.
Things have changed and there are more women than ever on the roster and the company is doing more to keep couples together. In NXT, wrestlers are together on most days since the travel primarily consists of driving to small towns around Florida to wrestle on house shows.
The latest WWE couple to announce their engagement is NXT’s Tatum Paxley and Javier Bernal, also known as Big Body Javi. On social media, Paxley posted a photo of herself with Bernal while also showing off her engagement ring. Bernal posted photos of himself proposing to her on the beach. Check out the photos below.
