WWE Crew Dealt With Plane Maintenance Issues While Traveling to Puerto Rico

WWE holds tonight’s episode of SmackDown as well as Saturday’s Backlash premium live event from Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

It marks the first PLE to take place in Puerto Rico since 2005 with the New Year’s Resolution pay-per-view event, most remembered for Triple H retaining his World Heavyweight Title in the main event after surviving an Elimination Chamber match.

WWE referee Jessica Carr noted in a post on Instagram that the crew experienced some issues ahead of the trip due to maintenance with the plane they were using to get there. She wrote in the caption:

“Some maintenance issues with the plane headed to Puerto Rico but crossing fingers that they’re handled quick!”
