Welcome to our live coverage of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, which is emanating from The Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. Announced for tonight’s show, Ronday Rousey, Sonya Deville, Xia Li, Natalya, and Lacey Evans will compete in a fatal 5 way match to determine the new number one contender for Liv Morgan’s Smackdown women’s championship, The Street Profits will team with Hit Row to take on Los Lotherios and Maximum Male Models, Drew McIntyre will battle Solo Sikoa, and Braun Strowman will make his return to Friday Night Smackdown.
– Smackdown starts off with footage of Roman Reigns pinning Drew McIntyre at Clash At The Castle.
Match 1: Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland vs Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci
– The match starts off with Ridge and Giovanni, Giovanni then hits a springboard crossbody on Ridge, Kaiser then hits an uppercut on a seated Holland, Ridge then hits a hiptoss takeover on Giovanni, Butch then stretches the fingers of Giovanni, Gunther then takes down Butch as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Kaiser land a chop to the chest of Ridge, Giovanni and Kaiser then hit a doubleteam dropkick on Holland, Gunther then lands a knee to the stomach of Ridge, Gunther then big boots Sheamus off the apron, Butch then hits a german suplex on Giovanni, followed by a kick to the side of the head, Butch then knees Gunther in the face, Giovanni then hits a closeline on Butch as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Gunther lock in a crossface on Butch, Gunther then hits a two suplexes on Butch, Punne then hits an enziguri on Giovanni, Sheamus then hits a backbreaker on Giovanni, Sheamus then lands a series of strikes to the chest of Kaiser, Sheamus then hits a rolling senton on Giovanni, Sheamus then hits the white noise on Kaiser onto Giovanni, Ridge then lands a lariat on Kaiser, Gunther then chops the back of Ridge’s neck, Gunther and Sheamus then exchange a series of strikes, Giovanni then pins Ridge to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Giovanni Vinci, Ludwig Kaiser, and Gunther at 19:03.
– The Usos then make their entrance with Sami Zayn, Jey says that Roman is still the Undisputed WWE Universal champion, Jey says that Roman beat Drew on his home turf, Jimmy then introduces Solo Sikoa, Sikoa says that if you come for his family he will come for you, Solo says that if you create problems, he finishes them, Sikoa says that The Bloodline just got better and stronger, Drew McIntyre then interrupts, Drew then hits Sikoa in the stomach with a chair, Drew then goes to hit Sikoa once again with the chair but Zayn gets in the way, taking the chairshot to the back for Sikoa.
Match 2: Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah vs Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne
– The match starts off with Raquel and Jacy, Raquel then hits a closeline on Jacy, Raquel then throws Aliyah into Jacy, Gigi then lands a series of kicks to the stomach of Aliyah, Jayne then hits a cannonball on Aliyah in the corner, Raquel then hits a fallaway slam on Gigi, followed by a sidewalk slam and a corkscrew elbow from the second rope, Aliyah then hits a spear on Gigi, Raquel then the texana bomb on Jayne to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah at 5:10.
Match 3: Elimination match: Sonya Deville vs Xia Li vs Natalya vs Lacey Evans vs Ronda Rousey
– The match starts off with Ronda kicking Evans in the stomach, Lacey then hits the women’s right on Natalya, Sonya then hits a running knee to the face of Evans, Ronda then forces Natalya to tap out with an armbar for the elimination at 1:17, Xia Li then lands a series of strikes on Ronda, Sonya then eliminates Xia Li and Ronda eliminates Lacey via submission at 2:21, Ronda then lands a series of punches on Sonya, Sonya then locks in a headlock on Ronda, Ronda then breaks the holds by slamming Sonya into the barricade, Ronda then hits the piper’s pit on Sonya, Ronda then locks Sonya in an anklelock to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via submission: Ronda Rousey at 4:31.
Match 4: Maximum Male Models and Los Lotherios vs The Street Profits and Hit Row
– The match starts off with Ashante and Man.soor, Top Dolla then hits a splash in the corner onto Man.soor, Ford then hits a closeline on Man.soor as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see Man.soor lock Ashante in a headlock, Angel then hits a superkick on Ashante, Humberto then accidentally hits a tope suicida onto Angel, Dawkins then hits a pounce on Humberto, Dawkins then hits an enziguri on Man.soor. Ashante then hits a cannonball from the apron, Dawkins then hits a cannonball over the top rope into Humberto and Angel, Ashante then pins Ma.ce to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Hit Row and The Street Profits at 8:34.
– Alpha Academy make their entrance, Gable says that it’s everyone’s lucky night because they are on Smackdown, which is where Alpha Academy was born, Gable says that they are here to ruin the return of Braun Strowman, Gable says that they had the match won on Monday, Gable says that Otis would of left Braun laying, Gable says that Otis is a superior athlete, Gable says that Seattle couldn’t even hold onto their own professional basketball team, Braun Strowman then interrupts, Strowman then lands a series of punches on Otis in the corner, Braun then hits a big boot on Gable, Otis then hammers away at Braun in the corner before hitting s splash, Braun then hits a shoulder tackle on Otis, followed by a closeline on Gable, Braun then hits a powerbomb on Gable, followed by a powerbomb on Otis.
Match 5: Drew McIntyre vs Solo Sikoa
– The match starts off with Drew landing a series of chops and punches on Sikoa in the corner, Drew then hits a closeline on Sikoa, Drew then hits the future shock DDT on Sikoa, Drew then goes for the claymore but The Usos pull Sikoa to the outside as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Drew land a kick and a chop on Sikoa, Sikoa then hits a Samoan drop on Drew, Sikoa then chokes Drew against the middle rope, Sikoa then hits a belly-to-belly on Drew to secure a nearfall, Sikoa then hits a running hipattack on Drew in the corner, Drew then hits two closelines on Sikoa, followed by a back elbow and a belly-to-belly suplex, Drew then goes to jump over the top rope but Zayn grabs his leg, Sikoa then hits a superkick on Drew, both men then exchange a series of punches, The Usos then punch away at Drew behind the referee’s back, The Street Profits then comes out to fight off The Usos, Ford then hits a crossbody from the top rope to the outside, taking out The Usos and Zayn, Drew then hits the claymore on Sikoa, sending hundreds to the outside, Karrion Kross then locks in the Kross jacket,, causing the disqualification.
Winner via disqualification: Drew McIntyre at 10:26.
– Smackdown ends with Karrion Kross locking Drew McIntyre in the Kross Jacket.
