WWE Is Bringing Back The King and Queen Of The Ring

WWE will be hosting a tournament next month as they’re bringing back King and Queen of The Ring.

WWE had plans to bring back the tournament in Saudi Arabia last year before it was nixed. WWE went with the Night of Champions theme instead of the King and Queen of the Ring.

The last tournament was in 2021, which saw Xavier Woods defeat Finn Balor in the finals to become King of the Ring, while in the Queen’s Crown Tournament, Zelina Vega defeated Doudrop.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted the tournaments will take place at the May 25th WWE PLE in Saudi Arabia, which has yet to be officially announced.

“By the way, the next pay-per-view is going to be King and Queen of The Ring, which is the Saudi show on May 25. I don’t know if that’s the next one. But the Saudi show, they may have one. I don’t even have that schedule in front of me, but May 25. That’s what that’s going to be.”
