WWE is off to a strong start with Elimination Chamber ticket sales

WWE will be returning to Australia next year, their first trip to the country since 2018. They will hold the Elimination Chamber premium live event on Saturday, February 24, from the Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. Ticket sales are off to a great start.

Past show

WWE previously held the Super Show-Down event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, which was headlined by Triple H vs. The Undertaker. That show also featured John Cena working a tag team match while Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch opened the show.

The company is planning for Elimination Chamber to be a very early morning show, likely starting at 6 a.m. Eastern and 3 a.m. Pacific.

Ticket sales

Pwinsider reports the show has sold over 45,000 seats thus far after making them available in late October. The stadium holds up to 70,000 fans for concerts, while WWE could fit in around 55,000 fans with a stage.

This is the latest city to pay WWE to hold an event in the local market. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is currently not advertised for the show.
