WWE is planning to feel Ucey for a while

On November 5th, WWE filed multiple trademarks for a popular term. The company filed trademarks for the terms “Ucey” and “Feeling Ucey” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The trademarks are for merchandise and entertainment services. Here are the descriptions:

“Mark For: FEELING UCEY trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.”

“Mark For: UCEY trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

The “Ucey” line was first introduced on a recent WWE SmackDown by Sami Zayn as he noted Jey Uso hasn’t been “ucey” as of late. Jey went on a rant right before the line about how he doesn’t understand why everybody doesn’t see what Zayn is doing by aligning himself with The Bloodline and doesn’t care about what anyone says, including Roman Reigns.

Jey backed down, and Reigns told him to find his “inner ucey.” With WWE filing for the trademarks, they plan on using the line for a while and making some money off it with the merchandise.

The Usos will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against The New Day on Friday’s SmackDown.
