WWE is planning to split up another tag team

WWE is looking to split up another tag team and it looks like it will be happening very soon. One of the things that hasn’t changed in WWE is the frequent split of teams. On SmackDown, they are teasing that Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will start feuding again and the same thing is happening in NXT.

WWE is planning to split up Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley with the idea that both are slated to be singles stars once again.

For the last few weeks, WWE has been planning the seeds that a split may be coming, which is the plan.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “Right now, the plan is for Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley to break up as it has been teased on NXT.”

It’s unclear what WWE has in store for them exactly, but it’s looking like a heel turn is coming for Paxley, as she was initially put with Nile to improve in the ring and has done just that.

Their last televised tag team match happened on the January 24th edition of NXT, where they lost to NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Fallon Henley and Kiana James. They first started teaming together last February on an episode of NXT Level Up, with a win over Henley and James.

As previously noted, it appears that WWE is splitting up Drew McIntyre and Sheamus following a segment on Friday Night SmackDown.
